Playa Music camp is the perfect choice for young students who are eager to begin their musical journey. During this two-week session, every musician will experience instruction in the instrument of their choice, practice performance technique, and participate in different ensemble groups. Our teachers will familiarize the student with the latest trends and innovations in the music world as well as providing tools for enhancing creativity and musicianship.Students learn how to express themselves musically, enhance their technical playing abilities, and work in unison with other musicians in an ensemble.
Musicianship: Learn to recognize the musical elements and apply them to the instrument of choice. Composition Daily instrument sectionals: Learn about technique, improvisation and repertoire. Ensemble Practice: Apply concepts in a group setting. Develop dynamics, articulation and intention.

Rock Guitar for kids:
Make learning fun by playing the best classic rock songs from the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's and beyond. Learn songs from the Rolling Stones to AC/DC and The White Stripes. In this class we will focus on the authentic song parts and complete song performance.
Easy Ukulele Class:
Learn fun and easy popular songs on the ukulele. If you are interested in playing familiar songs the whole family loves, then this class is for you. We will begin with basic ukulele chords and then add melodies. All levels welcome.

Advanced Jazz Improvisation for Adults:
Have you ever wanted to learn how to solo over advanced jazz changes? In this class we will be diving into jazz standards and decoding the theory on the guitar fretboard to create original and spontaneous solos over walking bass lines. This class is perfect if you want to move past modal solos and unlock the beauty of chord tone soloing and advanced harmony.
